Terms of Use

About RedLux.lu. RedLux.lu is a free online platform to help independent models present themselves and connect with interested audiences. We do not manage, represent, employ or mediate for the individuals listed on this site. We are not involved in any private arrangements or activities outside this website.

No fees or commissions. The use of this platform is provided completely free of charge. We do not request or accept payments, agency fees or commissions for listings or profiles.

Eligibility (18+). Access and registration are only permitted to adults (legal age in your country/region). We may use an age-confirmation step and reserve the right to restrict access if requirements are not met.

User responsibility. Each member is solely responsible for the content they publish (texts, photos, links, location info, availability etc.). Public profiles and user-generated content (UGC) are visible to visitors unless removed by the user or by moderation.

License to display. By uploading content, you grant RedLux.lu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and technically process your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. You retain all ownership rights to your content.

Prohibited use. You agree not to publish or link to illegal content; content involving minors; harassment or hate; misleading, fraudulent or spam activity; explicit display of intimate areas; doxxing; malware; or any content that infringes third-party rights (including copyrights and trademarks).

Moderation & enforcement. We operate a notice-and-action process and an automated image review system (see “Content & Publishing Policy”). We may warn, temporarily suspend or permanently disable accounts in case of repeated or severe violations.

External links & third parties. We have no control over external websites or private communications between users. We do not verify or endorse any meetings, services, payments or outcomes outside this site.

IP complaints. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us via the process in the Content Policy. We will review and act promptly.

Disclaimer. The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties about uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability is limited to mandatory legal requirements under Luxembourg law.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Place of jurisdiction is Luxembourg, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

Content & Publishing Policy

Purpose. RedLux.lu is a neutral advertising and networking space. It is not an agency and does not offer or arrange services. Profiles are self-managed by independent users.

Allowed content (summary)

• Professional portraits and lifestyle photos that respect personal dignity and local law.
• Descriptive texts about personality, availability windows, languages, non-explicit portfolio information.
• Links to personal websites or social media, provided they comply with this Policy.

Not allowed

• Any material involving or depicting minors.
• Explicit display of intimate areas (e.g., exposed genitals, areola/nipples) or sexual acts.
• Illegal content; hate/violence; harassment; threats; non-consensual images; doxxing.
• Fraud, scams, misleading claims, spam or malware.
• Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or privacy rights.

Automated image review & moderation

Uploaded images are automatically analyzed by a moderation tool to detect non-compliant areas. Where necessary, we may blur/pixelate specific regions or remove content. Automation is not perfect; we therefore use a combination of automated review and human checks.

Repeat violations. Non-compliant uploads can trigger a warning. Repeated or severe violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent account closure.

Notice & action (DSA-style)

If you believe content on RedLux.lu is unlawful or violates this Policy, please email website@redlux.lu with: (1) the profile/URL, (2) a description of the issue, (3) your contact details, and (4) any supporting evidence. We will acknowledge receipt, review promptly, and inform you about the outcome.

Intellectual property reports

For copyright or trademark complaints, include proof of ownership or authorization, the exact URLs, and a clear statement of rights infringement. We may disable content while investigating and, where appropriate, notify the user with options to respond.

What data we collect

• Account data (name or alias, username, email, password hash).
• Profile content (texts, photos, links) that you choose to publish.
• Technical data (IP address, device/browser info, timestamps, log files) for security and fraud prevention.
• Consent & preferences (age-gate confirmation, cookie choices, language).
• Communications with us (support emails, abuse reports).

Purposes & legal bases

• Provide the service (account, profile hosting, display) – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract).
• Safety & moderation (automatic image review, abuse prevention, logs) – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests: platform integrity & safety).
• Age confirmation & cookie preferences – Art. 6(1)(c)/(f) GDPR; for optional/non-essential cookies: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
• Legal compliance (responding to lawful requests) – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
• Communication (support replies) – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) where necessary for the service.

Automated moderation

We use automated tools to analyze uploaded images for non-compliant regions (e.g., detection of intimate areas). Where flagged, the system may blur/pixelate specific regions or block the upload. Affected users can contact us for human review.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (e.g., session, security, age-gate, language). Any analytics or marketing cookies are optional and only set with your prior consent. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

International transfers

Where processors are located outside the EEA, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) plus supplementary measures where necessary.

Retention

• Account & profile data: while your account is active.
• Logs/security records: typically up to 12 months, unless needed longer for investigation.
• Abuse reports & moderation records: as long as required to enforce our rules and legal obligations.

Your rights

• Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (Arts. 15–21 GDPR).
• Withdraw consent at any time for optional processing (e.g., analytics cookies).
• Lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD): cnpd.public.lu.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data (restricted access, encryption in transit, backups, logging and monitoring). No method is 100% secure; we continuously improve our safeguards.
